The specific shape of this project was inspired by Cathy Salustri's book Backroads of Paradise, an homage to the WPA's 1936 publication of Florida: A Guide to the Southernmost State. The Florida Loop, the title given to the Florida Guide's "tours" section by the Florida Federal Writer's Project, is an appropriate container name that documents my project progress.
